Simple 2D CAD for everyday projects

Create precise 2D drawings in your browser.

Precision drawing, made simple.

Draw, edit, annotate and organise practical plans with exact model-space geometry and familiar CAD workflows.

No account is required to start drawing.

Designed for practical planning

A focused workspace for drawings that need real dimensions.

Use Eucline for room layouts, garden plans, furniture arrangements and straightforward technical sketches when a general diagram tool is not precise enough.

Available today

The essentials for an accurate 2D workflow.

Every capability below is part of the current local editor. There are no cloud or account features hidden behind this page.

Draw core geometry

Create lines, polylines, rectangles, circles and arcs at a real 1:1 drawing scale.

Modify with precision

Move, copy, rotate, scale, offset, trim or erase geometry through transactional commands.

Annotate and organise

Add text and linear or aligned dimensions, then control layers and editable properties.

Connect exact points

Use endpoint, midpoint, centre and intersection object snaps, plus orthogonal constraints.

Keep editable copies

Autosave projects locally, download the editable .eucline format and export SVG drawings.

Recover your work

Reopen projects saved in this browser with their entities, layers, units and editable content intact.

How it works

From an empty canvas to an editable project in three steps.

  1. Open the editor

Start the local CAD workspace directly. Registration is not part of the current product.

  2. Draw and refine

Use commands, snaps, dimensions, properties and layers to build an accurate 2D drawing.

  3. Export a backup

Download a .eucline copy to preserve editability, or export SVG for use outside the editor.

Local-first by design

Your drawing projects stay in this browser unless you export them.

Eucline currently stores project data in this site’s IndexedDB and uses local browser storage for recovery and interface preferences. It does not currently synchronise project content to a server.

Clearing this site’s browser data, resetting the browser or changing device can remove projects that have not been exported. Download .eucline backups regularly.

Serving the website can still involve technical connection data, such as IP addresses and request headers. Final legal notices are pending review.

Frequently asked questions

What to know before opening the editor.

Do I need an account?

No. The current Eucline editor works without registration or sign-in.

Where are my projects saved?

Projects are saved locally in IndexedDB for this website and browser profile. They are not currently synchronised to a Eucline account or cloud project store.

How do I move a project to another browser or device?

Download the project as a .eucline file, transfer that file yourself and import it into Eucline on the other browser or device.

What can Eucline export?

The current editor downloads editable .eucline project files and exports drawing geometry as SVG. DWG and DXF are not supported.

Does drawing require a backend connection?

CAD commands, geometry calculations, rendering and local saving do not wait for a backend request. The website assets must still be available for the editor to load.
